Président Saint Morgon belongs to the group of white mold cheeses called Paâtes Molles.
As opposed to traditional cheeses with white mold on their
surface, the mold layer of Président Saint Morgon is removed.
During the ripening process, this cheese is turned over every day
and washed with lukewarm salty water. Président St. Morgon has a
beautiful light surface and its texture resembles the surface of an
orange peel. It has a rich nutty flavor and a lovely soft and
creamy texture.
It is an excellent addition to any cheese board, and it is
especially suitable as a dessert cheese after heavy main
dishes.
