Sweet chocolate hearts with ginger
A delicious chocolate dessert is a perfect choice for a romantic evening for two. We spiced the whole story with a bit of exotic ginger because, in case you didn’t know, chocolate and ginger love each other. Publicly!
Culinary advice
Instead of baking chocolate you can try out other types of chocolate. Chocolate with 70% cocoa content or white chocolate will completely change the taste of this dessert. Also, before serving, the love soufflé can be decorated with Brzo & Fino whipping cream.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Grease the heart-shaped baking dishes with butter, flour them
and put them into the refrigerator.
- Chop the chocolate and melt it slowly over low heat.
- In the meantime, cut butter into smaller pieces and, while
stirring, add it to the melted chocolate.
- Then add yeast and candied or ground ginger.
- Beat egg yolks with a teaspoon of water and sugar and mix them
into the chocolate and ginger cream.
- Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl.
- Mix the chocolate cream and beaten egg whites.
- Stir until you obtain a consistent mixture. Fill the baking
dishes, distributing evenly.
- Bake for about 20 - 25 minutes and in the end dust with cocoa
or powdered sugar. Enjoy!
