Dukat GREEN ZONE

Launched at the end of 2011, "Dukat GREEN ZONE" is a project that supports and raises the awareness of its employees, suppliers, partners and general public of the importance of responsible environmental behaviour.

Although the project has only been recently launched and titled "Dukat GREEN ZONE", ecological awareness has always been and it always will be one of the fundamental guidelines of Dukat's socially responsible business operations.

One of the big steps in that direction has been taken in the first half of 2011 with the introduction of DUKAT BIO milk. DUKAT BIO milk is the first Croatian organic milk and the only Croatian milk bearing the labels "Organic Product of Croatia" and "Milk from Croatian Dairy Farms".

Apart from opening a new market segment of domestic, organic milk, Dukat has positioned itself as a pioneer, but also as a leader in promoting sustainable organic production i.e. organic production of milk in Croatia.

Corporative values and culture are permanently present in our business operations, everyday challenges and choices, interaction with our colleagues, suppliers and partners, and "Dukat GREEN ZONE" will additionally contribute to their popularization and promotion in workplaces.

Therefore, Dukat's employees will be provided with comprehensive materials containing directions and advices on how to use energy and natural resources responsibly in their workplaces and at home. Furthermore, Dukat's employees will initiate and engage in a number of activities, whose aim is to preserve energy and natural resources and of which the public will be informed on this website.
